Video – Diabetic Retinopathy Testimonial
This video is a testimonial from a type 1 diabetic about her experience with diabetic retinopathy. She is asked a few questions about her experience and gives answers that represent fairly common reactions that many diabetics have to the disease and communicate how she was effected by her decisions.
This video can provide valuable insight into the potential results of ignoring medical advice and / or symptoms as well as provide incentive to follow through and receive annual eye examinations to check for diabetic retinopathy.
